On November 30, 2022, Director Zhang Dong of the Institute led the staff to learn the spirit of South to North Water Diversion, the spirit of "being able to fight", the spirit of Yan'an, the spirit of the Red Flag Canal and the spirit of Yin Ruins, so as to promote the healthy development of lawyers in the Institute.

1、 Carry forward the spirit of South to North Water Diversion and draw on the strength of progress.

The South to North Water Transfer Project is a great miracle of the CPC leading the people to transform nature and benefit the people. It is not only an immortal monument of water conservancy project construction, but also contains rich cultural elements, forming the great spirit of South to North Water Transfer. In the face of the complex and volatile international situation and various difficult domestic problems, we have taken into account the unprecedented changes in the world and the overall strategy of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. Old problems and old contradictions have not been completely resolved, new problems and new contradictions emerge one after another, opportunities are unprecedented, and pressures are enormous. It is very necessary to vigorously carry forward the spirit of the South to North Water Diversion, and encourage us to meet challenges and forge ahead bravely. On the new journey of socialist modernization with Chinese characteristics in the new era, Lawyer Jinyan must adhere to the leadership of the Party as firmly as the South to North Water Diversion Project, strengthen the "Four Consciousness", firm the "Four Confidence", and achieve the "Two Safeguards", vigorously promote the spirit of unity and cooperation, pragmatic innovation, commitment, and overall consideration of the South to North Water Diversion Project, constantly draw strength from it, and strengthen legal faith, Actively participate in the practice of the rule of law in the new era, promote the innovative development of the cause of lawyers, and practice the spirit of the 20th CPC National Congress with practical actions.

2、 Carry forward the spirit of "special ability to fight", and cultivate a team of lawyers who specialize in one discipline and are versatile.

In order to support the May 30th Movement of Shanghai workers and denounce the crimes committed by British and Japanese imperialism in China, Jiaozuo coal miners held a general strike that lasted eight months and involved more than 10000 people, and achieved complete victory, which was praised by Comrade Mao Zedong as "particularly capable of fighting". The general strike of Jiaozuo coal miners has achieved the spirit of "special ability to fight". The place where the general strike took place is the coking coal mine closed by the king. Now, under the guidance of the spirit of "special ability to fight", the coking coal mine closed by the king has become a magnificent butterfly, becoming a cultural and tourism scenic spot of "Xidajing 1919", which is rejuvenated, famous and eye-catching. The spirit of "being able to fight" is indispensable for transformation and development. The Institute further sublimates the spirit of "special ability to fight" into the spirit of "special ability to fight, special ability to bear hardships, special ability to contribute, special ability to learn, and special ability to cooperate", endows the spirit of "special ability to fight" with new era connotation and practical significance, integrates the red gene into the soul and externalizes it into practice, further stimulates the fighting effectiveness of the lawyers of the Institute, and strives to cultivate a team of expert lawyers with one specialty and many abilities.

3、 Carry forward Yan'an spirit and comprehensively promote rural revitalization.

Yan'an is the birthplace of the Red Flame. From 1935 to 1948, the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and Mao Zedong led and directed the War of Resistance against Japan and the War of Liberation here, laying the foundation stone of the People's Republic of China, and writing an epic historical chapter. Yan'an spirit is the spirit embodied in Yan'an, northern Shaanxi, with the CPC as the core, in the struggle to liberate China. It inherits and develops the Long March and Jinggangshan spirit, and sublimates it to a new realm. Yan'an spirit is the entrepreneurial spirit of self-reliance and hard work, the spirit of serving the people wholeheartedly, the spirit of integrating theory with practice, and the spirit of continuous innovation, and the ideological line of seeking truth from facts. Yan'an spirit is the precious spiritual wealth of the Party and should be inherited from generation to generation. Jinyan lawyers should integrate the Yan'an spirit into their work, practice the purpose of serving the people with their professional expertise, help rural revitalization, give full play to the role of village (resident) legal counsel, and do more practical things for the masses.

4、 Carry forward the spirit of the Red Flag Canal and fulfill the mission of the new era.

In the 1960s, in order to improve the poor production and living conditions and get rid of water shortage, the people of Linxian County (now Linzhou City) in Henan Province built a world-famous large-scale water conservancy irrigation project - the Red Flag Canal on the cliffs of Taihang Mountain, cultivating the Red Flag Canal spirit of "self-reliance, hard work, unity and cooperation, and selfless dedication". The Red Flag Canal spirit is worth learning, inheriting and carrying forward by every Jinyan person.   The young generation should inherit and carry forward the spirit of hard work, self-reliance and hard struggle, abandon arrogance and pettiness, and engrave their youth on the monument of history like our fathers. Achieving the Second Centenary Goals is a matter for one or two generations. We are at the right time to live up to it and should make contributions to our generation.

  In combination with ourselves, the Institute has started a great business from scratch. After 29 years of accumulation, the law firm has standardized management, stable team development and increasingly strengthened business at this stage. In the new development stage, we should carry forward the spirit of self-reliance and vigorously develop innovative business. Fully carry forward the spirit of teamwork, rely on their own professional expertise and rich practical experience, seriously study emerging businesses, integrate and sort out the resources around them, and achieve new breakthroughs in new business areas. In combination with the lawyer's business, the new era needs to continue to carry forward the spirit of hard work and entrepreneurship. When encountering difficulties in work, we should not give up. When the project cannot be promoted temporarily, we should not give up easily. We should "not give up, not give up". We will continue to carry forward the spirit of struggle, make every effort to overcome various difficulties and challenges on the way forward, and rely on tenacious struggle to open up a new world for career development. The selfless dedication of the new era should be endowed with new connotation. Don't attach too much importance to personal interests in work, and don't haggle over every detail for your own personal interests. You should start from the overall situation, look into the future, and identify the goals. When personal interests conflict with the collective interests, put personal interests first, and don't always put personal interests first. This is also a manifestation of selfless dedication.

5、 Carry forward the spirit of Yin Ruins and strengthen cultural self-confidence.

  Yin Ruins is the first capital site of the late Shang Dynasty that can be examined in Chinese history and verified by archaeological excavations.     He pointed out that the oracle bone inscriptions unearthed in the Yin Ruins preserved the characters of 3000 years ago for us, and promoted the Chinese history of letters for about 1000 years. I have been longing for Yin Ruins for a long time. This time, I want to learn more about the Chinese civilization, make the past serve the present, and provide reference for the better construction of the modern civilization of the Chinese nation. The Chinese language in China is very great. The formation and development of the Chinese nation cannot be separated from the maintenance of the Chinese language. In this regard, archaeology has made great contributions. Archaeological work should continue to be emphasized and strengthened, and the project of exploring the origin of Chinese civilization should continue to be deepened. The Chinese civilization has a long history, has never been interrupted, has shaped our great nation, and this nation will continue to be great. We should better inherit excellent traditional culture through cultural relics excavation, research and protection.   We should strengthen our cultural self-confidence and enhance the self-confidence and pride of being Chinese.

We are a great Chinese nation with a history of 5000 years of civilization. We have nurtured the world's only outstanding traditional Chinese culture without interruption. Our current task is to build China into a modern socialist country that is prosperous, strong, democratic, civilized, harmonious and beautiful. Our goal is to realize the Chinese Dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. To achieve this great historical task, we must, under the leadership of the CPC, adhere to the guidance of Marxism, adhere to carrying forward the excellent traditional Chinese culture, combine Marxism with traditional Chinese culture, realize the sinicization of Marxism, educate and bring up groups of Chinese people of insight, and then realize the historical task of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation!
