In order to thoroughly implement the overall national security concept and enhance the sense of responsibility and mission of party members and lawyers to safeguard national security, on April 29, Zhang Dong, secretary of the party branch of the Jinyan Institute, brought a profound and practical national security theme party class to all lawyers and administrative personnel.

At the beginning of the party class, Zhang Dong started from the basic concept of safety, explained in detail that "security" is a state of protection from danger, threat or injury, analyzed its subjective, relative and dynamic essential characteristics, and combined with philosophical and sociological perspectives, pointed out the importance of safety as a basic human need and the foundation of social contract, and pointed out that the essence of safety is to protect core interests such as life and property through risk prevention and control.

In the interpretation of the National Security Law, Zhang Dong analyzed the core essence of Articles 2, 3 and 6 of the National Security Law of the People's Republic of China one by one based on actual cases of the Sino-US tariff war. He stressed that the tariff war launched by the United States poses a potential threat to national power and sovereignty, affecting the well-being of our country people and sustainable economic and social development; China's firm countermeasures are a powerful measure to safeguard national security, which fully reflects the profound connotation of the overall national security concept with people's security as the purpose, political security as the foundation, and economic security as the foundation, as well as our country's wisdom and responsibility in continuously improving its national security strategy in responding to international challenges.

Focusing on the Anti-Secession Law, Zhang Dong focused on interpreting the three statutory conditions for a non-peaceful settlement of the Taiwan issue, clearly adhered to the one-China principle as the basis for realizing the peaceful reunification of the motherland, and called on all party members and lawyers to resolutely oppose any form of "Taiwan independence" separatist acts and safeguard national sovereignty and territorial integrity.

In response to the "Counter-espionage Law of the People's Republic of China", Zhang Dong listed typical espionage cases, explained the law with cases, profoundly revealed the serious harm of espionage to national security, detailed the definition and legal responsibilities of espionage, and warned party members and lawyers to always be vigilant and build a solid counter-espionage security defense line.

In the part of "What should Jin Research Institute and Jinyan people do", Zhang Dong put forward three requirements: first, to be prepared for danger in times of peace, take the initiative to improve their own capabilities in the fierce competition in the legal service market, and clarify development goals; second, we must bravely assume social responsibility, give full play to the professional advantages of lawyers, maintain national scientific and technological security by strengthening intellectual property legal services, actively participate in social governance and legislative policy formulation, and at the same time strengthen industry self-discipline and strengthen ideological and political education; Third, based on the overall situation of national security, it is necessary to systematically plan the development path of law firms and lawyers, build a multi-field legal knowledge system, upgrade the precise legal service model, provide customers with high-quality services, and contribute to the rule of law for national security with practical actions.

In the future practice process, we will practice the overall national security concept, strictly abide by the bottom line of the law, and show the responsibility of the lawyer industry in the great cause of safeguarding national security with a higher political position and a stronger sense of responsibility.
